Junior Architect Position

 

Max Parangi Architects P.C., a 40 years well established boutique Architectural Firm located in Westchester, NY with many diversified and interesting projects in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, is seeking a talented Entry-Level Junior Architect for a Full time position. We are looking for a design oriented individuals to join our talented team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn at a very fast pace while collaborating directly with the firm principal. You will be exposed to a variety of projects within the architectural profession (high-end residential, multi-story & townhouse development, office planning, retail and stores, medical buildings, restaurants, salons and spas, etc.)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering is a MINIMUM REQUIREMENT. Ideal candidate however, should have a Master’s Degree in one of the above mentioned fields 

• EXCELLENT SPOKEN and WRITTEN ENGLISH

• Own car is a MUST for this position

• Professional experience in Architectural firms is preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Proficiency in hand-sketching, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office

• Proactive in nature, passionate, with a “can do” attitude

• Ability to take projects from schematic design to construction documents

• Basic understanding of Zoning and current Building Codes

• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA
