Shiloh Baptist Church - Tuckahoe, NY
This 100-year-old place of worship, with a traditional bell tower, stucco exterior, and solid brick buttresses, was badly damaged by a flood both on the main level and in the basement. We were commissioned by the Church Board to restore the entire building and design a new handicap-accessible ramp near the main entrance of the church. The basement level was underpinned and completely waterproofed. The building structure was analyzed in its entirety and reinforced. New sprinkler and fire alarm system were also added to upgrade the building to new Building and Fire Code requirements.
Project budget: $ 400,000
